Adela Glass, co.

F.A.Q.

(Frequently Asked Questions)

Is the shop open?
No, the shop has been on hiatus for much of 2022 due to life things. Hoping to resume Adela work in the coming new year :)

Is stained glass safe?

Stained glass artwork is delicate by nature, and this should be taken into consideration when deciding where to display your new purchase. These pieces are made with solder that contains 60% tin and 40% lead; they should not be displayed in a location that can be reached by children or pets. Please wash your hands before touching your face, eyes, or mouth after handling any stained glass piece!

Do you accept custom orders?
Usually yes, but not currenty while the shop is on hiatus. However, you can visit the 'Custom Orders' page to get a feel for the ordering process once customs reopen.

When will my order ship?
Any items listed on Adela Glass, co. are ready-made and able to be shipped same or next-day after purchase on Saturdays through Tuesdays. The timeline for custom orders will be discussed case-by-case.

Do you ship anywhere in the world?
I am not currently offering international shipping outside of the US.

What materials are used to make these pieces?
All stained glass pieces from Adela Glass, co. are made of stained glass sheets, copper foil, solder, and patina, and all pieces have been hand cut, ground, foiled, and joined together by my hands.

Can I return or refund my purchase?
I am unable to accept returns or refunds for any Adela Glass, co. purchases. Please shop with this in mind!

My stained glass piece broke - what do I do?
Sadly, this happens, and it's the challenging nature of working with, shipping, and purchasing art made of glass. If your piece has broken whether at home or during shipping, please contact me - I will not be able to offer refund, but I am happy to try to help as much as I can in terms of a repair!
